We focus on warm weather Mediterranean varietals of wines. Some of our favorites, like Barbara, suit the Temecula Valley’s Southern California Wine Country sunny days and cool nights. Each year Charlie farms with a careful sense of balance, willing to sacrifice fruit yields and tonnage to increase the quality of grapes left on the vine to ripen.
Much like a microbrewery, we continually look for interesting expressions of additional varietals from local esteemed grape growers. Our boutique “microwinery” uses these grapes to produce our small lots of available wines. Most are kept separate from each other throughout the winemaking process from vine to bottle. This results in individual vineyard-designation bottlings with the integrity of each vineyard site preserved in each wine.
