Peltzer Winery has a new general manager and we couldn’t be more excited.

Bill Owen began Landfill Energy Systems in 1990 and served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for over 20 years. During which time, the business grew from a three-man operation at its inception to an industry leader employing over 1,000 Americans nationwide. Bill played an integral role in LES, from drafting the initial business plan, to serving on the Board of Directors, to negotiating its eventual merge into Aria Energy in 2014, where he continued his role as Executive Vice President.

Personally, Bill and his family have lived in the Temecula Valley for over two decades. He and his wife, Jerri, grow Cabernet Franc and Petite Syrah and have sold to some of the valley’s most established wineries including Wilson Creek Winery, Stuart Cellars, and Wiens Family Cellars.

After retiring, Bill pursued his passion as a wine enthusiast and became a pourer for his neighbors of over a decade, Carrie and Charlie Peltzer. As a trusted neighbor, friend, and employee, Bill was the natural choice and a great fit to lead our amazing team.

Cheers,

Charlie & Carrie Peltzer
