CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

This position is responsible for communication with clients from the inquiry, through booking, up until the final onsite meeting regarding Private Events. They must have a strong sales drive, be extremely organized, and have the ability to juggle many tasks and projects at once. The candidate must have a passion for our story and legacy and will keep the Peltzer brand and hospitality at the forefront of all decision making.

 

Wedding & Private Event Sales 

  • Highly personable and ability to facilitate an interactive and inviting property tour

  • Confidence in negotiating and adapting to different environments 

  • Must exude professionalism during customer interactions 

  • Staying relevant and competitive in the private event and wedding industry

  • Creating and adjusting proposals on a regular basis per client 

  • Creating, adjusting, and reviewing contracts 

  • Maintaining payments schedules and working directly with accounting as needed

  • This position facilitates sales in the following areas; Weddings, small and large private events, and Private Ice Rink sessions

  • Creating relationships with each client and displaying exceptional hospitality

  • Answering all questions and concerns with a quick response time 

  • Generating layouts and sharing venue inclusions 

  • Coordinating and being present for quarterly tastings 

  • Collecting adequate insurance requirements 

  • Communicating with all vendors and sharing property expectations 

  • Communicating with catering; guest counts, menus, reservations, payments

  • Communication with Peltzer tasting and operations team to make seamless transitions for events

  • Profit & Loss Sheets

  • Check Requests as needed

  • Communicating scheduling needs to Scheduling Manager

  • Scheduling cleaning service 

  • Supervising staff and making sure their time management is effective during the event, responsible for closing procedures 

  • Maintaining event inventory, for example, chairs, tables, chargers, etc.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be 21 years of age 

  • Flexible hours, weekends are required

  • 2+ years of managerial experience

  • 3+ years in Wedding or Event Coordination or equivalent experience

  • Excellent guest relations skills 

  • Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems 

  • Professional appearance and demeanor 

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds 

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day

  • Weekends, holidays, and evenings required 

  • Food Handlers License Required Within First Two Weeks of Hiring
